Food industry is, in a certain way, the joining link of the supply chain. It deals both with raw material suppliers and with the extended supply chain: food packaging, engineering, distribution, supply and promotion. A structured network as the one built up through the Forum roadmap is definitely welcome and must see us participating.

Moreover, Emilia Romagna has plenty of excellent supply chains which represent an important basis for this project and corroborate the fact that it will have its centre right in this region. We are convinced that dialogue between different actors within the supply chain is crucial and we support it, because it is through initiatives like this that we can define priorities which will be met through Research.
