Nourishing the growing world population with balanced and nutritious food while ensuring the sustainability of food production is one of the main global challenges. To meet this challenge we need to continue the progress in the scientific and technological area, to speed up innovation and to increase knowledge and technology transfer.

The World Food Research and Innovation Forum will give a substantial contribution because it will create a new interactive process of information exchange, debating and learning among all involved actors.
