Roger Short has over 35 years experience as a researcher and practitioner in internationalisation and development issues. He is an adviser to ASTER and Directory of Advocacy at the UK Charity – Africa Applied Health Education & Development. His previous posts include, Secretary-General of the World Association of Industrial Technological Research Organisations. Chief Internationalisation Expert for the Danish Technological Institute; Sector expert for the ILO Geneva; and Team Leader for the G7/EU-US dealing with the social impact of closing Chernobyl.
From 2000-2010 he worked in Southern Africa dealing with water; food security and poverty reduction issues. He has undertaken numerous programming and evaluation missions for donors.
