Minister for Agriculture, Hunting and Fishing, Emilia-Romagna Region
Simona Caselli is Regional Minister for Agriculture, Hunting and Fishing of Emilia- Romagna Region in Italy since December 29, 2014.
Formerly she was Director of Financial Services and Development at CCFS Consorzio Cooperativo Finanziario per lo Sviluppo soc. coop., national financial Consortium for the promotion and development of the cooperative movement, based in Reggio Emilia in Northern Italy. CCFS associates more than 1150 co-ops all over Italy and provides them financial services and loans for approximately 850 million euros.
She was also President of Legacoop Emilia Ovest, which associates, in the provinces of Reggio Emilia Parma and Piacenza, 389 co-ops, with 745.000 members, developing activities for 7,8 billion euros and with 57.000 employees.
She held several positions in Legacoop national and regional bodies and she has also been board member or auditor in some Italian co-operative companies.
Simona was also member of the Board of Directors of Parma University from January 2013 until her appointment to Regional Minister.
She graduated cum laude in Economics and Commerce at Parma University.
