Europe is big in discussing, analyzing and giving good advice, but it doesn’t act. That is the big desease of our Continent. That’s why I would say the first step we have to take to meet the “Feeding the planet” challenge is identifying a measures bouquet, let’s say five to seven measures, and then start to implement it and make proposals on how to implement it.
The World Food Research and Innovation Forum can help defining these measures, since it has many important aspects. The first one is internationalization. The second is it gathers various diciplines, such as policy making, industry, NGOs and more. This can help identifying a concrete bouquet of measures and making a first step to meet this challenge.
