Food & General Microbiology Unit of Caribbean Industrial Research Institute (CARIRI)

Rhea Koylass, has been employed at CARIRI for the past 7 years. Presently, she hold the position of Microbiologist at the Food and General Microbiology Laboratory. She has successfully obtained a bachelors degree and a master’s degree (with distinction) in Food Science and Technology from the University of the West Indies.

She is also the holder of certificates in Laboratory Safety Management, ISO 9001 and 17025, Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the General Industry and Construction Industry, First Aid, CPR and AED and Bloodborne Pathogens.
